Management

Marwanto Harjowiryono has been serving as Commissioner of PPA since 9 October 2020.

He has been trusted to serve strategic roles within the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, such as Director General of Treasury (2013 -2019), Director General of Fiscal Balance (2011-2013), Chief Executive of the Bureaucratic Reform Team (2007 – 2009), Special Adviser of State Expenditure to the Minister of Finance (2006 – 2009), Head of Public Relations Bureau (2004-2006), Head of Foreign Cooperation Bureau (2003-2004), Head of the State Budget Analysis Bureau at Financial and Monetary Analysis Agency (1998-2003).

He also served as Commissioner of PT Pelni (Persero) (2020), Commissioner of PT BTN (Persero) (2019), Commissioner of PT BNI (Persero) (2017 –2019), Commissioner of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) (2014 – 2017), President Commissioner of PT Bahana Pembinaan Usaha Indonesia (2011-2013), Executive Director at Asian Development Bank, Manila (2009-2011), Member of the National Social Security Council (DJSN) (2008-2011).

He holds a Bachelor of Economics from Gadjah Mada University (1983), Master of Economic Development and Fiscal Policy from Vanderbilt University, United States (1991), and Doctorate with a concentration in Development Economics and Fiscal Policy from Gadjah Mada University (2009).
